Today we dealt with queries from two group members who had ground to a halt with their research, We were able to find some information but in one case there were two people with the same name living in the same area. We came to the conclusion that a marriage certificate would have to be obtained to confirm the father's name.

We were able to help another member with her problem and ultimately found her ancestors on several census returns.
