This month for a change we looked at shopping in ancient Rome, such as the butcher, baker, lamp seller and soft furnishings like the cushions and fabrics shown here.
We looked at Henry III, Richard II, and Edward VI who all became kings of England as children. We will also be looking at the influential men and women in their lives.

Over the last few months we have been looking at the Tudor and Stuart periods, learning about Margaret Beaufort, Elizabeth of York, Margaret Tudor and Mary Tudor. Then some Stuart Queens such as Anne of Denmark, Catherine of Braganza and Mary of Modena.
